From Sign-Up to First Entry in 60 Seconds

by VeloLog

We built VeloLog's onboarding to get out of your way as fast as possible.

Five steps, no friction

When you sign up, VeloLog walks you through five quick steps:

  1. What kind of rider are you? — Road, gravel, MTB, triathlon, or track. This helps the AI tailor its insights to your discipline.
  2. What data do you track? — Power, heart rate, both, or neither. No judgment — VeloLog works with whatever level of data you have.
  3. What's your season goal? — Win races, get stronger, be consistent, or improve tactics. This shapes the AI's focus.
  4. Connect Strava — Optional but recommended. Pull in your rides automatically.
  5. Log your first entry — Either import from Strava or create one manually.

Why this order matters

Most apps front-load settings and preferences. VeloLog front-loads action. By step five, you've already logged a ride. The journal habit starts on day one, not after you've spent ten minutes configuring notification preferences.

Strava users get a head start

If you connect Strava during onboarding, your recent rides are right there waiting. Pick one, add your mood and legs, and you've got your first entry with real data. The AI will have something to work with from day one.

No credit card, no commitment
